Craig Police Report Week of July 30, 2017



The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

7/30/17
1:53 a.m. EMS responded to a call 2nd street.
2:19 A 30 year old female was arrested on charges of DUI.
2:47 a.m. A 44 year old male was arrested on charges of DUI.
8:10 a.m. Received a report of a bear, Shaan Seet TC.
8:25 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Water street and Harbor Master, a verbal warning was given for speed.
12:25 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Tanner Crab Ct, a verbal warning was given for tail lights out.
1:10 p.m. Received a report of Theft from vehicle, officer advised and investigation started.
4:26 p.m. Received a report of a loose K9.
6:18 p.m. A 26 year old female was arrested on 2 State Bench warrants for charges of Failing to comply with Conditions Of Release.
10:14 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance, harbor area and officer responded. Investigation started.

7/31/17
12:58 a.m. Received a report of a intoxicated person, next to highway. Officer responded and person taken home.
5:07 a.m. Received a report of person refusing to leave residence. Officer responded and matter resolved.
1:10 p.m. A 35 year old male was arrested on charges of Petition To Revoke Probation.
2:15 Received a report of animal abuse. Officer responded and investigation started.
2:42 p.m. A set of keys found.
3:28 p.m. Received a request for welfare check on young children being left alone. Officer investigated and matter resolved.
3:33 p.m. Received a report of an intoxicated person staggering in roadway. Officer responded and matter resolved.
3:58 p.m. A 23 year old female was arrested on a State Bench Warrant on charges of Failure to serve jail time.
8:11 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance, near a bar. Officer responded and matter resolved.

8/1/17
2:54 a.m. Received a report of loud music, SSTC and officer responded. Music turned down and warning issued for Disorderly Conduct.
1:02 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy near the High School, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
1:15 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded.
1:39 p.m. Received a report of loose dogs, SSTC.
3:12 p.m. Received a report from a local business, Social Security Card found. Owner contacted to pick up item.
3:31 p.m. Received a report, person taking photos of banks security cameras. Officer responded, investigated and matter resolved.
4:59 p.m. Received a report a loose dog. Owner located, citation issued for Animal at Large.
10:29 p.m. Received a report of possible assault SSTC. Officer responded, investigation started.
11:10 p.m. EMS responded to a call SSTC.

8/2/17
12:00 a.m. A 39 year old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.
12:10 a.m. EMS responded to a call 2nd street.
7:25 a.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC. Officer responded and matter resolved.
10:31 a.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded, matter resolved.
1:07 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded.
1:39 p.m. Received a report from a local business of intoxicated person, officer responded, medics responded and person released to sober friend.
1:46 p.m. EMS responded to a call at a local business.
1:43 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC officer responded and matter resolved.
4:00 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
4:52 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on PSN by the Burn Pit, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
4:57 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded and matter resolved.
7:34 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC officer responded and bear rounds used to scare bear away.

8/3/17
2:34 a.m. Received a report of theft, officer responded investigation determined no crime.
12:50 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded.
1:19 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded.
2:35 p.m. Received a request for a welfare check, SSTC and officer responded. No contact was made.
3:22 p.m. Received a request for a welfare check, SSTC and officer responded and all found ok.
3:35 p.m. Received a report of someone shooting a gun, Crab Creek area. Officer responded and unable to locate anyone firing a gun.
4:33 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded, deterrent rounds used and bear ran away.
5:54 p.m. Received a report of intoxicated people at Ballfield. Officer responded and matter resolved.
6:02 p.m. Received a report of a sink hole in the parking lot of a local bank, a road cone was places over it. Public Works and the bank manager were notified.
8:25 p.m. Received a report of an intoxicated person in the Lower Harborview TC, officer responded and matter resolved.
8:40 p.m. A 38 year old male was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release.
8:55 p.m. EMS responded to a call 2nd street.
8:42 p.m. Received a report of disturbance, Upper Harborview TC and officer responded and matter resolved.
11:18 p.m. Received a report of lost K9.

8/4/17
12:16 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Water street near AP&T, a verbal warning was given for tail lights out.
7:21 a.m. Received a report of alarm going off. Officer responded, alarm located and owner contacted and matter resolved.
8:18 a.m. Received a report of a loose K9 on higway. Officer responded, K9 located, owner located and K9 secured. K9 broke leash.
9:30 a.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded. Matter resolved.
1:46 p.m. Officer located vehicle in middle of roadway. Owner contacted and vehicle moved.
3:35 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Thompson rd, a verbal warning was given for expired registration.
4:46 p.m. Received a report of a bear, SSTC and officer responded and matter resolved.
11:43 p.m. Received a request for assistance for a person who needed help getting up. Officer responded and assisted.

8/5/17
1:28 a.m. An officer reported a bear, SSTC and deterrent round used. Bear left area.
3:17 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for driving left of center.
5:19 a.m. Received a report of loud music, SSTC and officer responded and music turned down. Disorderly Conduct warning issued.
5:29 a.m. An officer found intoxicated person, near harbor and person turned over to sober adult. Citation was issued for Minor Consuming Alcohol.
8:00 a.m. EMS responded to a call at a local business.
10:31 a.m. Set of keys turned into Police Dept.
11:32 a.m. Received a report of minor traffic accident. Officer responded and investigation started.
12:53 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/ K and Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for manner of driving.
1:06 p.m. An officer located bear, SSTC and explosive rounds and rubber rounds used. Bear left area.
2:30 p.m. Received a report of traffic complaint. Officer advised, investigated and warning issued.
4:40 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/ K Hwy and JS street, a verbal warning was given for speed.
5:30 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on 4th street by Fire Station, a verbal warning was given for failure to stop at stop sign.
9:00 p.m. Received a report of a bear, C/ K Hwy and officer responded. Matter resolved.
11:47 p.m. A 36 year old female was arrested on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.

During the week of July 30, 2017 to August 5, 2017 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:

0 abandoned vehicles; 7 adult arrest; 17 agency assists; 10 animal reports; 0 assault; 16 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 3 business assists; 10 citizen assists, 2 citations were issued; 1 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass,0 disorderly conduct;9 disturbances; 1 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 3 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 0 juvenile complaints; 0 lost property; 6 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 1 noise complaints; 0 protective custodies; 0 subpoena served,0 summons served; 4 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 2 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 12 verbal warnings and 3 welfare checks were given
