The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

04/17/2016

6:33 a.m. Received a traffic complaint from a local church

1:48 p.m. A 41 year old female was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for Failure to Complete Community Work

6:04 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Craig Klawock HWY at Sunnahae Trail; verbal warning given for having studded tires after April 15 th


04/18/2016

11:43 a.m. Conducted a welfare check at a residence on the 400 block of T&H St.; individual was okay

4:09 p.m. Responded to a request for a business assist

7:08 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Craig Klawock HWY at the 300 block of Shaan Seet; verbal warning given for speed

7:18 p.m. Responded to a juvenile complaint on the 300 block of Easy St.


04/19/2016

1:02 a.m. Fire, EMS, and CPD responded to a residential fire at 3 mile Port Saint Nicholas Rd.

10:36 a.m. Medics were paged out to the Craig Jail Facility

1:31 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Craig Klawock HWY near Peace Health; verbal warning given for having

6:31 p.m. Received a report of a damage vehicle; investigation started

6:49 p.m. Medics were paged out to the 800 block of Water St.

8:22 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on the 700 block of Port Saint Nicolas Rd.; verbal warning given for speed

04/20/2016

12:46 p.m. Received an animal complaint; dog was quarantined due to biting an individual

12:54 p.m. Responded to a traffic complaint at the laundromat

6:38 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Port Saint Nicholas Rd. at the 700 block of Shaan Seet; verbal warning given for speed


04/21/2016

12:40 p.m. A found bicycle, which was held at the Craig Police Department, was picked up by its owner

3:17 p.m. Responded to a request for a citizen’s assist at a residence on the 400 block of Shaan Seet

3:56 p.m. A found dog was turned in to the Craig Police Department; dog was returned to the owner

4:39 p.m. Responded to a traffic complaint at 4 mile Craig Klawock HWY; the vehicle had broken down and was towed off the roadway; no longer a traffic hazard

7:57 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2.5 mile Craig Klawock HWY; verbal warning given for speed


04/22/2016

1:06 a.m. Received a report of a lost purse

9:07 a.m. A summons was served for an upcoming court case

12:24 p.m. Responded to an animal complaint at a local business; the dog was returned to its owner

1:22 p.m. Medics were paged out to the Harbormaster

9:51 p.m. Responded to a juvenile complaint at the Craig High School; unable to locate


04/23/2016

9:57 a.m. Medics were paged out to a residence on the 500 block of Cedar St.

3:10 p.m. Received an animal complaint from a residence on the 500 block of Hamilton Dr.

3:32 p.m. Medics were paged out to a residence in Harborview

6:40 p.m. Officers made contact with an individual outside of AC Thompson House; verbal warning given for open container

7:49 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Craig Klawock HWY at Dump Rd.; verbal warning given for speed

7:59 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 1.5 mile Craig Klawock HWY; verbal warning given for speed

8:04 p.m. Received a traffic complaint from the area around AC Thompson House

8:05 p.m. Responded to a residence on the 400 block of Shaan Seet for a report of a domestic disturbance;

8:19 p.m. Medics were paged out to a residence on the 400 block of T&H St.

9:29 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Craig Klawock HWY at Port Saint Nicholas Rd.; verbal warning given for speed Service in Lieu of Jail Time studded tires after April 15 th investigation started

9:35 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 1.5 mile Craig Klawock HWY; verbal warning given for speed

10:13 p.m. Responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of Annie Betty’s; individual was advised to stay away from the area

10:31 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on 7 Th St.; verbal warning given for speed

complaints; 1 lost property; 6 medical call; 0 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 0 protective custody; 0 subpoena served; 1

0 abandoned vehicles; 1 adult arrest; 0 agency assists; 3 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries,

summons served; 1 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 4 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise,

12 verbal warnings and 1 welfare check was given
