I'm old enough to still enjoy radio much more than television. Perhaps the joy stems more from a lack of options since as a kid our family couldn't afford television cable so radio was the only alternative. One of the highlights of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as a child was turning on the radio and listening to the local radio channel play hours and hours of classic Old Time Radio Christmas programs.
