The amazing Karen Barnes who is working at the Hill Bar is helping to sell tickets for all these great raffles and causes! Buying a local raffle ticket, of course, is a win-win for the community! I've written before [here] why we should stop donating to outside charities and instead focus on our own local communities!
By keeping our money here on the Island(s), it helps bolster small non-profits and organizations and statistically you have a much higher chance of winning a prize here than playing scratch offs.
