Text: On 10/12/15, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on patrol in the Patrol Vessel Enforcer charged John K. Matsura, 51, and Arthur W.J.Thompson, 24, both of Ketchikan, with commercial fishing in a closed period for Sea Cucumbers. Both were participating in the sea cucumber dive fishery in Kasaan Bay. They were given a summons for 10/23/15 in the Craig District Court.

Text: On 10/15/15 at approximately 1230 hours, Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island, in conjunction with Department of Corrections Probation/Parole, and the Hydaburg Village Public Safety Officer (VPSO) contacted Gwendolyn Peratrovich, age 28 of Hydaburg while conducting probation compliance checks in the community of Hydaburg. Peratrovich was found to be violating her court ordered conditions of probation for a prior felony conviction. Peratrovich was placed under arrest and transported to the Craig jail facility where she was remanded into their custody without bail.

Incident Number: AK15084579Type: Misconduct Involving Weapons 3, Probation Violation
Text: On October 16, 2015, Alaska State Troopers and Alaska Wildlife Troopers assisted the Ketchikan office of Adult Probation by conducting a home visit with Jennifer Haydu, 25 of Craig. Upon contacting Haydu at the residence, AST located multiple firearms to include handguns. Haydu is a convicted felon and therefore cannot have access to concealable firearms. Haydu was taken into custody and transported to the Craig Police Department Jail where she was lodged pending arraignment. Haydu is charged with Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Third Degree as well as a probation violation.
