On 3/26/16, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island cited Roseann Demmert, 57, of Klawock for failing to remove buoys, anchors and associated herring pound equipment from the 2015 herring season. Arraignment is scheduled for April 7, 2016 at the Prince of Wales District Court.

On March 31, 2016, 32 year old John O'Neil of Hydaburg was contacted by the Hydaburg VPSO for driving while his license was suspended. The VPSO had been advised by AST that O'Neil's license is currently suspended until 2018 and he had been previously advised not to drive by law enforcement. O'Neil was taken into custody and transported to the Craig Police Department Jail where he was booked and released for the misdemeanor offense of Driving While License Suspended.
