On 8/24/16, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on board the P/V Enforcer contacted Daniel Peters, 24 of Klawock, while he was acting as a sport fish guide on a chartered trip. Investigation revealed that Peters was not in possession of his 2016 sport fish license as required. Peters was issued a $210.00 citation in the District Court at Prince Of Wales

On 8/30/16, Alaska Wildlife Troopers Prince of Wales Island cited Philip Ferrell, 47, of Troy, AL for failing to release a snagged salmon on the Klawock River. Bail is at $110 through the Prince of Wales Court.

On 09/03/16 at approximately 0830 hours, Prince of Wales AST responded to a single vehicle rollover near MP 13 of Boundry Road near Klawock. Investigation revealed Jillian Carl, 19 YOA of Klawock, was southbound on Boundry when her vehicle left the road way. Carl did not receive any injuries and was wearing her seatbelt. Alcohol was not a factor.
