Craig Police Report Week of August 13, 2017


The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

8/13/17
12:44 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on PSN and C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
12:35 p.m. A Social Security Card was found.
12:44 p.m. EMS responded to a call in Upper Harborview.
2:31 p.m. Received a report of a Disturbance in Upper Harborview, an officer responded and matter resolved.
4:00 p.m. 2 Citations were issued for Disorderly Conduct.
6:34 p.m. EMS responded to a call on E. Hamilton.
7:03 p.m. Received a report of a minor automotive accident, an officer responded and an investigation was started.
7:19 p.m. Received a report of a Criminal Complaint on Tanner Crab, an officer responded and investigation started.

8/14/17
3:08 a.m. Received a report of a barking K9 in SSTC, an officer responded and matter resolved.
5:01 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and JT Brown Industrial, a verbal warning was given for a head light out.
9:16 a.m. Received a report of a minor vehicle accident.
11:28 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 3 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for driving with parking lights on.
11:46 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and JS street, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
12:23 p.m. Received a report of a minor vehicle accident, an officer responded and investigation started.
1:56 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
3:22 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
6:36 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
7:32 p.m. A Summons was served at the bar.
8:15 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2.5 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for a headlight out.
8:47 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Thompson Rd, a verbal warning was given for a headlight out.

8/15/17
11:10 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Thompson BLVD, a verbal warning was given for illegal parking.
4:09 p.m. Received a report of an alarm going off at a local business, an officer responded and matter resolved.

8/16/17
1:45 a.m. Received a report of a Disturbance outside a bar, an officer responded and matter resolved.
1:56 a.m. A 36 year old female was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release.
8:00 a.m. Received a report of alarms going off at apartment complex, an officer responded and matter resolved.
3:21 p.m. A 23 year old female was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release.
4:06 p.m. Received a report of a bear at Tanner Crab Ct, an officer responded.

8/17/17
12:23 a.m. Received a report of a Disturbance on Water street near Harbors, an officer responded and matter resolved.
12:47 a.m. to 12:53 a.m. 6 Subpoenas were served on 2nd street.
3:09 p.m. Received an animal complaint in SSTC,, an officer was advised.
5:18 p.m. Received a report of a group of Suspicious persons at False Island, an officer responded, no contact with persons.

8/18/17
1:43 a.m. Received a report of an alarm going off at a local business, an officer responded, matter resolved.
2:07 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and SSTC, a verbal warning was given for no tail lights.
10:09 a.m. A 58 year old male was arrested on charges of Petition To Revoke Probation.
11:08 a.m. A Subpoena was served on 2nd street.
7:47 p.m. Received a report of a loose K9, an officer responded and K9 returned to owner.
10:33 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near SSTC, a verbal warning was given for a tail light out.
11:12 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Barge pull out, a verbal warning was given for speed.

8/19/17
12:10 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on West Hamilton, a verbal warning was given for not having headlights on.
2:12 p.m. Received a report of a male refusing to leave a local business, an officer responded, male taken to his residence.
2:19 p.m. A 35 year old female was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for charges of Theft in the Second Degree and Misconduct Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree.
4:28 p.m. Received a report of a lost black LG phone on 8/18/17.
6:42 p.m. Received a report of an unlicensed driver, driving around Craig / Klawock. Officers advised.
8:54 p.m. Received a report of a loose K9 in SSTC, officer advised.



During the week of August 13, 2017 to August 19, 2017 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:

0 abandoned vehicles; 4 adult arrest; 11 agency assists; 5 animal reports; 0 assault; 2 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 2 business assists; 5 citizen assists, 2 citations were issued; 3 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass,0 disorderly conduct;4 disturbances; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 1 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 0 juvenile complaints; 1 lost property; 3 medical call; 3 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 0 protective custodies; 8 subpoena served,1 summons served; 1 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 0 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 12 verbal warnings and 0 welfare checks were given
