On 2/22/18 at approximately 0800 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island located a single vehicle collision near mile 11 of the Klawock-Hollis Hwy. Investigation revealed that Kevin Adams, age 20 of Hydaburg, had been traveling Eastbound on the Klawock-Hollis Hwy near mile 11 when he lost control of his vehicle in an icy section of roadway. The 2007 GMC Pickup that Adams was operating struck the guardrail before it left the roadway and entered the ditch. Damages to the vehicle were estimated at $4,000.00. Adams reported wearing a seatbelt but was later treated for minor injuries sustained in the collision.

On 2/16/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers from the Craig Post arrested Tina M. Williams, age 35 of Craig on an outstanding arrest warrant. She was remanded to the Craig jail without incident.
