On April 21, 2018 at about 8:00 PM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island received a report of some individuals trespassing on Klawock Heenya land off Salt Chunk Lane. On April 22, 2018, troopers responded and located the same vehicle that had been reported the night before on the same property. Troopers identified the occupants as 21 year old Klawock resident William Conway and 23 year old Craig resident James Wood. William and James were both later issued misdemeanor citations for Criminal Trespassing II.

On 4/23/2018, An arrest warrant was issued for 43 year old Naukati Bay resident Jonathan McGraw Jr. for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree. McGraw's whereabouts are unknown at this time. Anyone with information on the location of McGraw is encouraged to call Alaska State Troopers at 826-2918. Callers may remain anonymous.

On 4/21/2018, Prince of Wales based Troopers conducted a residence check directed by Adult Probation. During that search and subsequent search with a search warrant, Troopers located over 45 grams of methamphetamine. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

On 4/26/2018, at approximately 0530 hours, an eighty-three year old resident of Hydaburg reported an unknown male entered his residence and demanded his wallet. The unknown male was armed with a crowbar and ended up leaving with the homeowners cellphone and some clothing. The elderly homeowner was not injured during this event, and the investigation is ongoing.
