On 6/5/2018 at 1529 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being operated by John G Oneil. Oneil, (35 year of age) from Hydaburg was known to AST as having multiple outstanding warrants. Oneil was arrested on the warrants and issued citations for driving while license suspended, no proof of insurance, and open container. A search warrant executed on the vehicle resulted in multiple drug related items being seized. The investigation is ongoing.

On 6/8/2018 at approximately 1702 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop in Klawock for expired registration. The driver, 28 year old Esther Peratrovich of Hydaburg, was arrested for not having insurance for the vehicle. Peratrovich was transported to the Craig Jail where it was revealed that she was on conditions of release for driving without insurance.
