[Job Posting] IFA Relief Deckhand/Nightwatchman


HELP WANTED
On-Call Relief Deckhand/Nightwatch

The Inter-Island Ferry Authority is now accepting applications for an on-call Relief Deckhand/Nightwatch. Position is strictly on-call and based in Hollis, Alaska. Applicant must be available to serve as relief for vessel positions of Deckhand (6:30am to 6:30pm) and Night Watch Deckhand (6:15pm to 6:15am). Duties include: customer service contact for passengers; vessel security; vehicle loading and unloading; line handling; emergency response; vessel cleaning; other duties as assigned.

A TWIC card is required within 30 days of hire for this position. All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random testing throughout employment.

Applications will be accepted by fax, email, or in person at any IFA terminal or the IFA Admin. Office in Craig (West Wind Plaza Suite 304, next to Department of Fish and Game) or mailed to PO Box 495, Craig, AK, 99921. This position will be considered open until filled.
