On 12/17/18 at approximately 2325 hours, Officers contacted Samuel Burrous, age 41, in the 400 block of Main Street. A records check showed Mr. Burrous had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the state jail where he was held with no bail.
On 12/19/18 at approximately 0850 hours, Craig Leask, age 37, was contacted in the 600 block of Dock Street. He was arrested on an outstanding $5000 warrant. During a search of his person, drug paraphernalia was located, in violation of his conditions of release. Leask was remanded to the state jail where he was held on $6000 bail for his warrant and a new charge of Violate Conditions of Release.
On 12/20/2018 at 1505 hours, Officers contacted Tre Beaupre, age 25, in the 300 block of Main Street due to him having four outstanding warrants. Mr. Beaupre was arrested on his warrants and was transported to the state jail where he was held on $3,600 bail.
On 12/20/18 at about 2323 hours, Officers responded to the 700 block of Harris Street due to a report a drunk driver striking a trailer and leaving the scene. The owner of the striking vehicle, Gregery D. Nelson, age 30, was contacted and found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. Mr. Nelson was transported to the state jail and set to be released on his own recognizance.
On 12/21/18 at approximately 2346 hours, Officers contacted Jupiter Mata, age 52, in the 700 block of Water Street due to a report of a domestic assault. Mr. Mata was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree – Domestic Violence. He was transported to the state jail where he was held without bail.
On 12/22/18 at approximately 1100 hours, Officers contacted Bruce Lee Jensen, age 55, at the Ketchikan Solid Waste Facility who was a parole absconder from Anchorage and wanted on outstanding arrest warrants for Probation Violations and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.Mr. Jensen was arrested and transported to the state jail where he was held without bail. He was additionally charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in the Second Degree.
On 12/23/18 at approximately 0027 hours, Officers Deanna Ermaloff, age 39, in the 700 block of Deermount Street due to a male yelling for help. Ms. Ermaloff was arrested for Assault in the 3rdDegree - Domestic Violence. She was transported to the state jail where she was held withoutbail.
On 12/23/18 at approximately 1727 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Tongass Avenue for a report of Toni R. Sanderson, age 39, in the area with an outstanding warrant. Ms. Sanderson was arrested on the warrant and additionally charged with Violation of Conditions of Release. She was transported to the state jail and held on $750.00 bail.
On 12/24/18 at approximately 1538 hours, Officers contacted Jose E. Alvarado, age 43, who was intoxicated and trespassing at a midtown business. Mr. Alvarado was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release. He was transported to the state jail and held on $250.00 bail.
On 12/24/18 at approximately 2020 hours, Officers contacted Gordon S. Irvine, age 55, in the 400 block of Dock Street due to a reported fight. Mr. Irvine was arrested for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in the First Degree. He was transported to the state jail and held without bail.
On 12/25/18 at approximately 0137 hours, Officers contacted Sylvia Frank, age 35, in the 100 block of Inman Street due to a report of a domestic disturbance. Ms. Frank was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree – Domestic Violence and transported to the state jail where she was held with no bail.
On 12/25/18 at approximately 1052 hours, Officers responded to the Ketchikan Medical Centerto speak with the victim of a Domestic Assault. Based on their investigation, Officers arrested Charles A. Bertoch, age 46, for Assault in the Second Degree. He was transported to the state jail and held without bail.
