South Thorne Bay/Kasaan Road is Officially Open

A major landslide occurred on New Years Day (what a way to celebrate) that took out the main South Thorne Bay/Kasaan road. Thanks to the hard work of the Organized Village of Kasaan and other crews, Sara Yockey, who is the liaison for the clean up writes:

Good news folks, the road will be open this [March 5th] afternoon! Thank you to everyone for your patience & understanding! As the road repairs continue in the next few weeks you can expect delays during the day & flaggers will be on site. Please share!
