FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SEATTLE, Washington, April 15, 2019 — Trident Seafoods Corporation reports a minor fire at the False Pass Seafoods processing facility in False Pass, Alaska. The fire started at approximately 3pm local time on April 13
and was contained mainly to a computer server area, stockroom, and parts storage area on the second floor of the plant. There were no reported injuries.

Some areas of the facility sustained smoke and water damage, however none of the plant’s primary mechanical systems were damaged, and we do not anticipate any impact to processing capabilities for the upcoming season.

Further damage to the plant was avoided due to the swift, coordinated response by local fire crews, plant personnel, several on-site contractors, and community members, whom we thank for their efforts. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. [Source]
