Ketchikan Airport to Receive Millions from the FAA



U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao announced on September 23rd that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will award $986 million in airport infrastructure grants, the fifth allotment of the total $3.18 billion in Airport Improvement Program (AIP) funding for airports across the United States.

Alaska received a nice chunk of that money and among the allotments were $2,645,123 for the Ketchikan airport to install perimeter fencing.
