On 08/31/2019 at about 1844 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Michael Henderson, age 38 of Ketchikan at Mile 3 of the South Tongass Highway. Henderson was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Ketchikan Courthouse stemming from the original charges of Assault in the 3rd Degree, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Henderson was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $10,000.

On 09/03/2019 at about 1745 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault which occurred at a residence located at mile 10 of the North Tongass Highway. Investigation revealed that Judith Strother, age 23 of Ketchikan physically assaulted another family member. Strother was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree DV. Strother was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.

On 9/4/2019 at 1336 hours, Prince of Wales State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Ford Explorer for an equipment violation near Klawock. The driver, 54 year old Loretta Mortell was found to be driving the vehicle while her license is revoked. Further investigation revealed Mortell had been previously convicted for DWLR. Mortell was issued a misdemeanor citation for DWLR and given a future court date.

On September 6, 2019, at about 5:30PM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. One of the passengers was 25 year Chanel Mackie, who was known to have two outstanding arrest warrants. Mackie was arrested and transported to the Craig Jail where she was remanded on the warrants for Assault III and Vehicle Theft I with a bail of $8,000.00

On September 7, 2019, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island were attempting to locate and arrest an individual who had an outstanding felony arrest warrant. During the process, troopers contacted 42 year old Melissa Mackie. Investigation revealed Mackie had aided the wanted individual and she was arrested. Mackie was transported to the Craig Jail where she was remanded on no bail for Hindering Prosecution I.

On 9/7/2019 at 1615 hours and in Klawock, Prince of Wales State Troopers contacted 30 year old Jessica Montgomery as a passenger in a vehicle that was initially reported as stolen. Montgomery is currently on supervised probation, and after speaking with Adult Probation, a search was conducted on the vehicle. Multiple items of drug paraphernalia was seized. Montgomery was remanded to the Craig Jail for probation violations. After interviewing all individuals involved in regards to the vehicle theft, it was determined the vehicle was not actually stolen, but rather not returned when it was agreed upon.

On 9/6/2019, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Ketchikan issued Amos Hudson, 36 of Ketchikan, a citation for fishing personal use Dungeness crab pots without bio-degradable cotton twine escape mechanisms. Bail is set at $120 in the District Court in Ketchikan.
