In conjunction with Veterans Day, we're pleased to announce that First Bank this year raised a little over $13,000 for 10 veterans' organizations in Southeast Alaska.
This was primarily through our Military Appreciation Month campaign in May. Funds were raised through a combination of customer donations, matching funds from First Bank, and $25 contributions from First Bank for all new deposit accounts that were opened that month.
A huge thank-you to all of our customers who contributed in one way or another to this effort, and who support our veterans throughout the year.
And our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans and your families for your service and sacrifice. Thank you.
