Alaska SBA will recognize an outstanding individual who meets the following criteria:
• Individual has made significant contributions to the local small business community through mentoring, counseling and serving as a resource to aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs
• Can demonstrate that contributions resulted in business start-up or expansion, job creation and increased revenues of local small businesses
Applicants may self-nominate and submit the following information with a photo of the nominee to the local SBA office. Point of contact is Norma Lucero, 907-271-4841.
The SBA Alaska District recommends nominations to be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. Alaska Time, March 18, 2020. All award winners will be recognized during National Small Business Week May 3-9, 2020.
