On 08/09/2020, at approximately 1420 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Richard Shields Jr. (age 37 of Saxman) at his residence in Saxman after investigation revealed that he violated a domestic violence protective order by contacting the petitioner. Shields was remanded at the Ketchikan Correctional Center without bail pending arraignment on 08/10/2020.

On 8/12/2020 at 1415 hours, Prince of Wales State Troopers arrested 36-year-old Anita Nordlund on an outstanding arrest warrant. Nordlund was remanded to the Craig Jail on $1000 bail.

On 8/11/2020, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Ketchikan issued a citation to Brian Boudreau, 47 of Oregon, for employing an unlicensed crewmember aboard his tender vessel. The violation has a set fine of $270.00.

On 7/19/20, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island located and seized a personal use dungy pot in the marine waters of Whale Pass that did not have the required biodegradable escape mechanism. Investigation showed that the pot was being fished by Jimmy Alford, age 36 of Whale Pass. Alford was later contacted and issued a minor offense citation for the violation.

On 7/19/20, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island located and seized a sport fish dungy pot in the marine waters of Whale Pass that did not have the required escape rings. Investigation showed that the gear was being fished by Eric Stowell, age 54 of Whale Pass. Stowell was later contacted and issued a minor offense citation for the violation.

On 8/11/2020 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited David Sheldon (51) of Seattle Washington for operating a Dungeness Crab pot without a bio degradable escape mechanism in Alaska waters. This citation does not require a court appearance. It has a set fine of $120 in the First Judicial District Court in Ketchikan.

On 8/15/2020, Alaska State Troopers responded to Hydaburg for a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old Gwendolyn Peratrovich of Hydaburg. Peratrovich was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree after it was revealed she threw a rock through the window of a family member's house causing approximately $150.00 damage. Peratrovich was remanded to the Craig Jail pending arraignment.

On 08/14/2020 at about 1704 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted Don Wright, age 50 of Ketchikan at mile 8 of the North Tongass Highway. Investigation revealed that Wright was violating current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse by being in possession of drug paraphernalia. Wright was arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.
