Tree Fall in Hollis Causes POW Power Outage

From AP&T:

We had a tree come down in Hollis that resulted in a transmission line fuse blowing apart in Klawock. This was a challenge as it was on the transmission side of our closest automated protection. In order to fix, we had to put all the communities on their own diesel plants and shut down the black bear lake hydro. We had a few issues that resulted during our restoration, and all errors will be corrected to prevent the same thing from happening again.

As always POW Report appreciates all the great work that AP&T does for our island!
