Type: DVPO Violation

Dispatch Text:

On 1/23/21 at approximately 1920 hours  Fairbanks Dispatch received a complaint of a violation of a DVPO.  The Hydaburg VPSO contacted Teddy Vos lll age 18, of Hydaburg at his residence on Front street.  Investigation revealed that Vos was in violation of a DVPO by having direct contact with the Petitioner.  Vos was arrested and remanded to the craig jail facility without incident.

On 1/23/2021 at approximately 0929 hours, Alaska State Troopers received 26 calls from the same phone number regarding multiple scenarios. Troopers in Dillingham responded to the individual.

Type: Warrant Arrest

On 1/25/21 at approximately 1900 hours the Hydaburg VPSO located Teddy Vos lll, age 18 of Hydaburg at his residence on main street.  Vos was arrested on a $250 bench warrant.  Vos was transported to the Craig Jail Facility without incident.

Type: MICS 5, VCOR, DWLS, NO IID, No Proof of insurance

On 1/27/21 at approximately 1045 hours the Hydaburg VPSO observed two males who where known to him sitting in a black car near the Hydaburg creek pull-out.  VPSO had prior knowledge that the driver was suspended.  The VPSO contacted the car identified the driver as Melvin Minch, age 28 of Klawock,  Melvin was found to be operating a vehicle without a IID device, also Melvin's license is suspended and he had no proof of insurance.  Melvin was arrested and charged with no IID, DWLS and No insurance.  VPSO request bail be set at $250.  VPSO identified the passenger as Wesley Minch, aged 58 of Klawock investigation revealed that Minch was in possession of approximately 1 g of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Wesley was charge with MICS 5 and VCOR and remanded to the Craig Jail Facility on no bail.

Type: NO CFEC vessel license

On 1/25/2021 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Christopher Boyd (37) of Metlakatla for delivering commercial taken sea cucumbers in Ketchikan from a vessel without a valid 2021 CFEC vessel license.  This offense has a set bail of $220 and does not require a mandatory court appearance in the First Judicial Court in Ketchikan.
