Location: Ketchikan

Type: Warrant Arrest, VCOR x4, MICS 2, MICS 3, MICS 4, Promoting Contraband 1

Dispatch Text:

On 03/05/2021 at about 1815 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Kelli Lecornu, age 27 of Ketchikan on a $5,000 warrant in the 2100 Block of Sea Level Drive.  The warrant was from the original charge of VCOR.  Lecornu was also found to be violating current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse by being in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Further investigation revealed that Lecornu was found to be accompanied by Jennifer Blankenship, age 40 of Ketchikan who was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and Heroin at the scene. Blankenship was arrested and transported to Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was found to be in possession of more Meth and Heroin hidden on her person.  Blankenship was arrested for MICS 2, MICS 3, MICS 4 and Promoting Contraband 1st Degree and remanded to KCC with no bail.  AST would like to thank US Forest Service Law Enforcement and Ketchikan Police Department for their assistance with the investigation.  Further charges of pending.

On 03/08/2021, at approximately 1600 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted a suspicious vehicle in a public parking lot in Ketchikan.  The driver of the vehicle, Kenneth Louviere (age 38 of Texas), was arrested for a $250 arrest warrant for failure to appear for a misdemeanor commercial fishing charge.  Louviere was remanded at KCC.

On 03/09/2021 at about 1917 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted a vehicle in the 2500 Block of Tongass Avenue.  Investigation revealed that the driver Creighton Boyd, age 33 of Ketchikan was in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Boyd was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with no bail.  AST would like Ketchikan Police Department for their assistance with the investigation.

US Forest Service Officer Stopped a white ford pickup being driven by William Johnson on Revilla Road. Upon contact with the driver it was noted the driver had bloodshot eyes dilated pupils and slurred speech as well as an overpowering odor of Marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The driver admitted to smoking Marijuana prior to driving in the previous 10-15 minutes. Troopers arrived on scene and assisted with Field Sobriety Tests. William failed Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for DUI. William was transported and remanded at Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was released on his own recognizance.

On 03/10/2021 at about 1945 hours, Kelli Lecornu, age 27 of Ketchikan was contacted and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center on the charges of Unlawful Contact 1st Degree after it was found that Lecornu had contacted a witness in a pending criminal investigation where the Ketchikan Court had advised that Lecornu was to have no contact with the witness.  Lecornu was found to had contacted the witness on two separate occasions and was remanded on two counts of Unlawful Contact in the 1st Degree.

On 03/10/2021 at about 2001 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted a suspicious white Chrysler in the Airport parking lot.  Investigation revealed that the driver Cheri Henson, age 36 of Ketchikan was in possession of a non-prescribed medication.  Henson was also found to be on conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse from the original charges of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd and 3rd Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.  Henson was arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.

On 03/11/2021 about 0023 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Burglary at a residence in the 3000 Block of Crest Avenue.  Investigation revealed that between the hours of 2230-0000 hours, suspect(s) entered a residence and damaged property inside the residence.  No items were reported missing.  The estimated total loss of damaged property is over $500.00. Case is under investigation and suspects have been developed.  Anyone with information pertaining to this case or any criminal matter is asked to call the Alaska State Troopers at 225-5118.  Callers can remain anonymous.

Alaska State Troopers responded to Revilla Road to assist the US Forest Service Officers with a vehicle that failed to yield to them and was continuing to drive. The vehicle had sped through a camping area and caused pedestrians to have to take evasive action out of fear of the approaching vehicle.  Troopers followed the pursuit as it approached the intersection of Revilla and Tongass avenue. The vehicle turned into a back entrance to a gravel pit then traveled to a residence off of the gravel pit until it came to a stop in a driveway on Bolles Street. The driver exited the vehicle yelling and cussing at the pursuing Officers and Troopers and fled into the residence. Troopers and US Forest Service LEOS established a perimeter and Troopers attempted to establish communication with the man. He would not answer the phone, would not respond to repeated hails via PA, Bullhorn and loudspeaker or come to the door when rocks were thrown on his patio to try and get his attention. 

Troopers observed several empty beer bottles in the driver's door the truck during the incident as well as a case of beer located in the cab of the truck. 

Troopers attempted to establish contact with the man for over an hour but had no success. As there was no apparent risk to public safety, the decision was made to withdraw from the scene and apply for a warrant to take him into custody at a later time.

On 03/13/2021, Prince of Wales State Troopers arrested 52-year-old Jeri Hill-Cruikshank in Klawock on a $30,000 arrest warrant issued for the crime of Conspiracy to commit Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances III. During the arrest, items indicative of drug usage was observed inside her residence. A search warrant was obtained whereas 25+ grams of methamphetamine, packaging materials and over $5,000 cash was seized. Troopers also located a handgun during the search. Hill-Cruikshank has a prior felony conviction for drugs. Hill-Cruikshank was remanded at the Craig Jail on the warrant and charged with MICS III, MICS IV and MIW III (all felony offenses). AST would like to thank Klawock Police Dept for assisting with the search of the residence.
