Global Warming Causes Southeast Snowpack to be 140% to 210% Above Normal!

 From the US National Weather Service Juneau Office:



The snowpack in SEAK is WELL above normal (140% to 210%) with record values in the north and deeper than normal snowpack in the south. This is the second year in a row with above normal snowpack after multiple years of well below normal. Snowpacks are a critical water resource and this winter’s snowpack will play a key role in refill reservoirs and sustain streamflows for spawning fish this summer.
