On 8/30/21 at 1014 hours, Juneau-based Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a death on board the Royal Caribbean M/V Millennium. Investigation revealed 61 year old New York resident, Aaron Muck, died from natural causes on board the ship. Next of Kin was notified and no foul play is suspected.

On 9-2-21, Byron Skinna, age 55 of Klawock, Alaska and permit holder aboard the F/V Anna Lyn, was found to be fishing in waters closed to commercial seining during a seine opening in Silver Bay near Sitka. Skinna was issued a summons to appear on 9-21-21 in the Sitka Court for Commercial Seine Closed Period.

On 09/04/2021 at about 1836 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Zachary Nebl, ago 30 of Ketchikan at a residence in the 3800 Block of Evergreen Avenue. Nebl had an outstanding warrant issued by the Ketchikan Courthouse for VCOR stemming from the original charge of DUI. Nebl was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $500.00.
