Craig Police Department Report Week of January 10, 2016

The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:


1/10/2016

  • 3:04 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 1.5 mile Port Saint Nicholas Rd.; verbal warning issued for taillight out 
  • 6:08 p.m. Responded to a report of a possible physical altercation at a AC Thompson House 
  • 6:22 p.m. Responded to a motor vehicle accident at a First Bank; investigation started 
  • 9:04 p.m. Medics were paged out to Totem Park


1/11/2016

  • 2:13 p.m. Responded to an animal complaint on Craig Klawock HWY by Shaub; two dogs were returned to their owner 
  • 8:42 p.m. Responded to an animal complaint by the Harbor Master; the dog was returned to the owner


1/12/2016

  • 12:08 p.m. Received a report of possible harassment 
  • 2:42 p.m. Responded to a report of smoke at the edge of the woods by Tanner Crab Ct.; no fire or smoke located 
  • 8:45 p.m. Medics were paged out to a residence on the 500 block of Water St. 
  • 9:51 p.m. A 60 year old female was held for Protective Custody


1/13/2016

  • 9:47 a.m. Responded to a motor vehicle accident at Sampson Tug and Barge; investigation started 
  • 5:28 p.m. Responded to a local business for a report of suspicious activity; investigation started 
  • 9:04 p.m. Responded to the Craig pool for a report of an injured seagull; the bird was turned over to the Raptor Center


1/14/2016

  • 1:19 a.m. Made contact with two individuals at the Sunnahae Trail Head; they were waiting for a ride 
  • 11:16 a.m. Responded to Shelter Cove Lodge for a dead bird in their parking lot; the bird was disposed of 
  • 1:32 p.m. Received a report of possible theft; investigation started 
  • 2:08 p.m. Received a request for medics; the ambulance was canceled after the reporting party stated it was no longer needed 
  • 5:10 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Craig Klawock HWY near Tanner Crab Ct.; citation issued for speed 
  • 7:09 p.m. Responded to a report of a possible disturbance at Harborview


1/15/2016

  • 3:15 p.m. Responded to the Craig pool for a juvenile complaint; investigation started 
  • 8:42 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on the 600 block of Beach Rd; verbal warning given for parking on the wrong side of the road


1/16/2016


  • 9:03 a.m. Received a report of a lost cellphone 
  • 11:27 a.m. Responded to a report of suspicious activity at the city burn pit 
  • 6:03 p.m. Medics were paged out to a residence on the 400 block of T & H St. 
  • 9:07 p.m. Responded to a burglary alarm at a local business 
  • 10:04 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2 mile Port Saint Nicholas Rd.; citation issued for speed
