On 11/4/15, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Prince of Wales Island Post, represented the State of Alaska in a court trial against Randy J Neuberger (59 y/o) of Arizona. Neuberger is a seasonal resident of Coffman Cove and was charged on 6/5/2015 for making a false statement on a resident Alaska Department of Fish and Game license. A two day court trial began on 11/3/2015 which resulted in a guilty verdict being issued on 12/28/2015. A sentencing hearing will take place in the Craig District Court on January 19th, 2016

On 12/30/2015 at approximately 1420 hrs, Alaska State Troopers contacted 28 year old Bradley D. Kato of Klawock and took him into custody on an outstanding Craig Police Department warrant for failing to complete community work service/serve 3 days jail. Kato was transported to the Craig Police Department Jail where he was held on $5,000.00 bail.

On 12/30/15, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Prince of Wales Island Post, issued a court summons to Berton F Duncan (26 y/o) of Klawock. The summons charges Duncan with pulling Dungeness crab gear of another person without permission. The investigation began in August 2015 near the community of Coffman Cove. Duncan has a mandatory appearance in the Craig District Court.
