Craig Police Report Week of October 25, 2016



The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the
Craig Police Department:

10/25/16
10:33 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on 200 block Shaan Seet, verbal warning for an out headlight

10/26/16
8:04 a.m. Responded to a report of a vehicle swerving around a school bus when it was stopped with its lights on.
11:25 a.m. Responded to a report of suspicious behavior at a residence on T&H Street
2:15 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Cold Storage Rd., no signs of impairment
3:46 p.m. Investigated a report from a local business of someone ordering food by phone and not picking it up,
7:40 p.m. Medics were paged out to a medical call on Second St
3:13 p.m. Responded to a report of a bear that took a deer off of a porch on the 500 block Shaan Seet, bear was not located

10/27/16
11:15 a.m. A 32 yr old female was arrested for Petition to Revoke Probation
12:57 p.m. A 23 yr old male was arrested on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear
9:25 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Pt. Bagial near JS Hardware, verbal warning for an out headlight
10:35 pm. Responded to a report of a disturbance at Upper Harborview, medics were paged out for a female with breathing problems

10/28/16
6:14 p.m. Responded to a report of a disturbance on the 300 block Shaan Seet, female was placed under protective custody for the night
9:09 p.m. Investigated a report of a dog that barks all day and night on the 700 block Shaan Seet
9:18 p.m. Received a report of harassing phone calls, the person was not able to be located

10/29/16
1:50 a.m. Responded to a report of a bear on the 600 block Shaan Seet, it was getting into coolers that had deer in them previously
8:29 a.m. Received a report of a dog that was limping out near 2 mile Pt. St. Nick
9:37 p.m. Responded to a report of a dead bear at 3 mile C/K Highway
9:42 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy near Tanner Crab, verbal warning for no headlights on
10:15 p.m. Responded to a report of a disturbance on Front St., no charges were pressed
10:31 p.m. Responded to a report of a disturbance on the 300 block Shaan Seet, it was verbal only
11:22 p.m. Responded to a report of a broken window on a vehicle at the Hill Bar parking lot, a case was pulled for Criminal Mischief

10/30/16
3:28 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy at Tanner Crab, verbal warning for an out tail light
11:15 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy at 300 block Shaan Seet, verbal warning for speeding
1:47 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy at 300 block Shaan Seet, citation issued for loud music, disorderly Conduct and verbal warning for an out brake light out
7:07 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy at 200 block Shaan Seet, verbal warning for an out brake light and the vehicle was left as the driver had a cancelled license
7:11 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy near Log Cabin, verbal warning for an out tail light

10/31/2016
10:15 a.m. Medics were paged out the a call on Second St.
10:46 a.m. Investigated a report of a juvenile at an empty float house
12:04 p.m. Responded to report of a dog that attacked some chickens on Spruce St, unable to capture the dog
10:08 p.m. Responded to a report of an assault that had happened 4 times in the last week. The person did not want to press charges


During the week October 25, 2015 to October 31, 2016 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:

0 abandoned vehicles; 3 adult arrest; 1 agency assists; 1 animal reports; 0 assault; 1 bear complaints; 0 burglaries,
1 business assists; 22 citizen assists, 1 citations were issued; 0 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass, 0 disorderly conduct;
2 disturbances; 2 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served, 0 fire call, 0 found property, 0 harassments;
1 juvenile complaints; 0 lost property; 3 medical call; 0 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 1 protective custodies;
0 subpoena served, 0 summons served; 5 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 1 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise,
7 verbal warnings and 0 welfare checks were given
