During the week of March 26, 2017 to April 1, 2017

The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the
Craig Police Department:

3/26/17
2:37 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 300 block Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for failure to stop at sign.
3:15 a.m. An officer provided transport for 1 female to her residence in Shaan Seet TC.
3:18 a.m. An officer provided transportation for 3 males.
3:36 a.m. An officer provided transportation for 1 male to 4 mile C/K Hwy.
3:47 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at JS street, a verbal warning was given for manner of driving.
8:32 a.m. Received drug information, person(s) possibly cooking meth – investigation started.
10:48 a.m. EMS responded to a call at Harborview TC.
11:22 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2.5 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speed.
9:49 p.m. Received a request for an officer T&H street for an intoxicated female causing a disturbance and refusing to leave, an officer responded and the issue was resolved.
10:19 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 200 block of Beach and Cedar street, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.

3/27/17
3:47 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at PSN and 500 block of Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for a broken headlight.
5:41 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at PSN and Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for a broken headlight.
8:34 a.m. Received a report from a woman on 2nd street who stated her Ex had assaulted her last December and broke her rib, investigation was started.
2:09 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 200 block of Shaan Seet TC and PSN, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
2:21 p.m. A green jeep was reported as an abandoned vehicle at Harbormaster parking.
2:31 p.m. . A white Buick was reported as an abandoned vehicle at Harbormaster parking.
2:33 p.m. . A silver chevy pickup was reported as an abandoned vehicle at Harbormaster parking.
2:35 p.m. . A red Toyota 4-Runner was reported as an abandoned vehicle at Harbormaster parking.
3:46 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for speed.
5:39 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Peace Heath, a verbal warning was given for speed.
9:03 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 700 block of Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for a headlight out.
9:39 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 100 block of Tanner Crab, a verbal warning was given for a head light out.

3/28/17
1:53 p.m. Received a report from a local business that a woman was calling a harassing the employees, officer contacted the woman and she agreed to stop.
3:23 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Front street, a verbal warning was given for expired plate and no proof of insurance, driver was advised to park vehicle until taken care of.
7:34 p.m. Received a report of a Domestic Assault in the Shaan Seet TC, an officer responded and investigation started.
10:20 p.m. A 22 yr old male was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct.

3/29/17
6:56 a.m. Received a report of a woman trespassing, Shaan Seet TC. Officer responded, investigation started and female was taken into Custody.
8:13 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Harbormaster, a verbal warning was given for speeding in a School zone.
12:27 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Fire Hall, a verbal warning was given for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
6:47 p.m. Received a report of a Disturbance on Thomas court, officers responded and matter was resolved.

3/30/17
1:57 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Totem Park and C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for a headlight out.
2:15 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at PSN and C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for driving without headlights on.
2:11 p.m. Received a report of a MVA at the Craig Pool, a woman stated that someone had backed into her car and went into the pool, an officer responded and a report was taken.
5:58 p.m. A 33 yr old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the fourth degree Domestic Violence.
7:23 p.m. A 19 yr old woman was put into protective custody on a Tital 47 Proctective Custody Hold.


3/31/17
9:50 a.m. Received a report from a man on Cedar street who states that person(s) keep coming to his door, even after being asked not to. Officers contacted groups, advised not to return to residence or could be charged with crime(s).
10:36 a.m. Received a report of a chocolate lab running loose and chasing deer on PSN near the Burn Pit, an officer was advised.
1:21 p.m. Received a report of a chocolate lab that followed a mans truck from Hilltop to Harbormaster building, he is afraid the dog will get hit, an officer responded and caught the dog, it was taken to the pound until the owner was contacted and picked it up later.
4:46 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and the High School, a verbal warning was given for speed.
4:51 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speed.
7:11 p.m. Received a request for a welfare check of a woman on the Water street, an officer responded and all is well.

4/1/17
3:04 a.m. Received a 911 call from a male who reported needing help at a local business near Little T’s, officers responded and the issue was resolved.
4:34 a.m. officer investigating vehicle near Ruth Ann’s, passed out driver with weapon next to him. Investigation continues.
3:30 p.m. Received a report of a possible intoxicated driver, officer responded and investigation started.
7:44 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Tanner Crab ct, a verbal warning was given for driving without headlights on.
9:13 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 3 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for a head light out.
9:19 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 4.1 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for a headlight out.

During the week of March 26, 2017 to April 1, 2017 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:

4 abandoned vehicles; 2 adult arrest;6 agency assists; 2 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 3 business assists; 12 citizen assists, 0 citations were issued; 2 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass, 0 disorderly conduct; 3 disturbances; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 0 found property, 1 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest0 juvenile complaints; 0 lost property; 1 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 3 protective custodies; 0 subpoena served,0 summons served; 1 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 2 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 20 verbal warnings and 1 welfare checks were given

The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the
Craig Police Department:

4/2/17
2:50 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for driving without head lights on.
3:12 a.m. An officer reported 2 males destroying a trash can near Hilltop on C/K Hwy, the officer spoke with the 2 males at Harbormaster parking and had them pickup and restore trash can.
4:42 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at ¾ mile PSN, a verbal warning was given for a broken tail light.
6:08 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at the Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for no tail lights and no proof of insurance, driver has until end of day tomorrow to show proof of insurance.
1:06 p.m. Received a report of a domestic disturbance from Water street involving a woman who had been beaten up, an officer responded and spoke with the woman, advised her to seek medical attention, along with notifying Troopers; as incident occurred near Hollis.

4/3/17
4:18 a.m. Received a report from the alarm company of a possible burglary at a local business, an officer responded and matter resolved.
9:10 a.m. EMS responded to a call at Sunnyside drive.
5:06 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 3 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speed.
5:17 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Peace Health and C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for speed.
11:05 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Hamilton drive.

4/4/17
12:35 p.m. An officer reported a dog loose at the Middle School that was trying to get in and the dog was taken to the pound. The owners were contacted and a citation was issued for first offence of dog at large.
5:08 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and High School, a verbal warning was given for speed.
6:50 p.m. Received a report from a man on 2nd street that his girlfriend just assaulted him on 7th street, an officer responded and an investigation was started.

4/5/17
9:27 a.m. A summons was served on 2nd street.
12:38 p.m. Drug information received, investigation started.
12:56 EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
5:12 p.m. A 27 yr old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the fourth degree Domestic Violence.
6:06 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Beach and 3rd street, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
8:34 p.m. Received a report of a possible drunk driver heading from Craig to Klawock in a black SUV, officers advised.
9:51 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Thompson rd, a verbal warning was given for no break lights and no proof of insurance.

4/6/17
7:05 a.m. Received a report of an alarm going off, officer investigated and matter resolved.
10 :38 a.m. EMS responded to a call on Beach rd.
4:00 p.m. Received a report of a disturbance, water street, female refusing to leave a residence. Officer responded and matter resolved.
9:04 Received a report of a vehicle broke down in the road near North Cove parking, an officer responded and the vehicle was pushed to a 24hr parking spot, the owner will take care of it tomorrow.

4/7/17
9:39 a.m. Received a report of 2 dogs running loose on PSN and C/K Hwy, an officer responded.
9:59 a.m. EMS responded to a call at Peace Health.
4:36 p.m. Received a report of a missing juvenile male. Craig Officers, Klawock Officers and Troopers advised and juvenile was located.
8:24 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Tanner Crab Ct, a verbal warning was given for a broken headlight.
8:33 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 6th and Water street, a verbal warning was given for a broken tail light.
10:26 p.m. EMS responded to a call at North Cove Dock.

4/8/17
4:00 p.m. Received report of intoxicated person, walking dog, weaving in/out of traffic on C/K Hwy. Officers responded and matter resolved.
4:59 p.m. Received a report of an animal complaint, Harborview TC and officer responded and matter resolved.
5:20 p.m. Received a report of a dog barking, officer responded and matter resolved.
7:42 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy near dump rd, a verbal warning was given for a tail light out.
8:58 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at PSN and Shaan Seet, a citation was issued for no proof of insurance, and a verbal warning was given for a tail light out and registration.

During the week of April 2, 2017 to April 8, 2017 the following complaints were reported and
