Craig Police Report Week of June 25, 2017



The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

6/25/17
3:15 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop at W. Hamilton, a verbal warning was given for manner of driving.
3:26 a.m. An officer impounded a Lab K9.
3:29 a.m. received a report of a disturbance near the Hill Bar, officer responded and one person fled, other was transported home. Investigation continues.
4:09 a.m. An officer provided transport for intoxicated person.
4:32 a.m. EMS responded to a call SSTC.
9:06 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop on Easy street, a verbal warning was given for speed.
12:29 p.m. Received a report of K9 running loose near Peace Health. Officer responded and delt with matter.
2:00 p.m. The owner of the Impounded K9 picked up dog and was issued citation.
2:31 p.m. Received a report from a woman on Water street of a long red haired dog that almost got hit by a car, an officer responded and returned the dog to its owner.
11:15 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and AML, a verbal warning was given for break light out.

6/26/17
11:38 a.m. An 18 year old female was arrested on charges of an arrest warrant for Violating Conditions Of Release and Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.
4:40 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at Night Court, a verbal warning was given for speed.
11:01 p.m. Received a report of vehicle speeding, throwing items at people. Officer responded, stopped vehicle, found driver in violation of provisional restrictions and other teens walked home.

6/27/17
12:57 p.m. SSTC Hotel reported issue with intoxicated male who keeps calling, only speaks Spanish. Officer found person, found translator and matter resolved.
4:16 p.m. Officer found vehicle parked in middle of road, Thompson Rd. Owner located, vehicle moved.
5:41 p.m. Received a report of an armed male, woods near Ballfield. Officers investigated, determined kids made up incident.
7:58 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and W. Hamilton, a verbal warning was given for studded tires.
10:16 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Shaan Seet TC, a verbal warning was given for a broken head light.

6/28/17
8:49 a.m. Received a report of a lost/found phone.
10:20 a.m. Received a report of parking violations at False Island boat launch, officer responded, citation(s) issued.
1:53 p.m. Received a report of a fire alarm. Investigation determined it was false alarm.
6:12 p.m. Received a report of a bald eagle that flew into the power lines at Arrow Head fuel, an officer responded and advised the eagle was dead, the Forrest Service was notified.
6:27 p.m. Received a report of vehicle parked on curb. Officer responded, owner contacted and vehicle moved.
6:58 p.m. A 30 year old male was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct.
9:04 p.m. Received a report of an assault SSTC. Officer responded, investigated and arrest made.
10:01 A 29 year old female was arrested on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.

6/29/17
7:22 a.m. A 42 year old male was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release for a DUI.
8:00 a.m. A man brought in to the Police Department a debit card that he found, the owner was contacted and will come in to pick it up.
10:03 a.m. Received a request for welfare check. Officer investigated and no contact was made.
12:39 p.m. Received a report of 3 juveniles that are unsupervised and playing on a roof. Officer responded, parents contacted and minors turned over to parents / guardians.

6/30/17
1:26 p.m. A minor traffic accident occurred on 2nd Street. Officer investigated. 2:05 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
2:41 p.m. Received a report of a possible intoxicated driver.
3:15 p.m. Received a report of possible trespassing violation. Officer investigated and matter resolved.
5:58 p.m. EMS responded to a call Main street.
9:52 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at North Cove parking lot, a verbal warning was given for a broken headlight.
10:01 p.m. Received reports of loud noise, Water Street area. Officer investigated and matter resolved.

7/1/17
3:24 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Sunnahae trail, a verbal warning was given for no tail lights, the vehicle had electrical problems and the officer helped move the vehicle off the road.
4:10 a.m. A 37 year old male was arrested on charges of Driving Under the Influence.
1:40 p.m. Received a request for a welfare check, officer investigated, found all to be fine, no further action required. .
5:44 p.m. Received a report of lost phone.
6:56 p.m. A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
6:59 p.m. A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
7:01 p.m. A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
9:47 Received a report of fireworks going off SSTC, officer responded and matter resolved.
10:50 p.m. Received a report of fireworks going off Shaan Seet TC, officers responded and matter resolved.


During the week of June 25, 2017 to July 1, 2017 the following complaints were reported and
investigated by the Craig Police Department:

0 abandoned vehicles; 6 adult arrest; 11 agency assists; 5 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 2 business assists; 6 citizen assists, 1 citations were issued; 3 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass, 0 disorderly conduct;5 disturbances; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 1 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 1 juvenile complaints; 1 lost property; 3 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 0 protective custodies; 3 subpoena served,0 summons served; 0 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 5 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 11 verbal warnings and 2 welfare checks were given
