Craig Police Report Week of August 27, 2017


The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

8/27/17
12:25 a.m. A 56 year old female was taken into Protective Custody.
12:30 a.m. EMS responded to a call near AML on C/K Hwy.
2:29 a.m. Received a report of a bear in SSTC, an officer responded.
2:57 a.m. An officer reported 3 bears near Crab Creek, they took off into woods, deterrent not needed.
3:02 a.m. Received a report of a possible fight in front of the bar, an officer responded and matter resolved.
6:28 p.m. A 31 year old male was taken into Protective Custody.
8:05 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Hill Top drive, a verbal warning was given for speed.
9:07 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Port Bagial, a verbal warning was given for broken tail light.
10:24 a.m. Received a report of a bear on Tanner Crab CT, an officer responded and matter resolved.
10:30 Received a report of a disturbance in SSTC, an officer responded and a Citation was issued for Disorderly Conduct.

8/28/17
6:33 a.m. Received a report of a lost black wallet.
3:08 p.m. Received a traffic complaint of a vehicle that failed to stop at sign in Harborview TC, an officer was advised.
11:49 p.m. Received a report of a bear in Tanner Crab CT, an officer responded.

8/29/17
12:37 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Sunnyside dr, a verbal warning was given for speeding.
9:35 a.m. Received a report of a loose K-9 in Harborview TC, an officer responded and a verbal warning was given for animal at large.
7:50 p.m. Received a report of a lost cell phone. Phone located. 10:01 p.m. Received a report of a bear in SSTC, an officer responded.
10:44 p.m. Received a traffic complaint of a vehicle broke down near harbor Master and pushed off of road, an officer responded.

8/30/17
12:01 a.m. EMS responded to a call on 2nd street.
12:27 a.m. A 31 year old male was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release/ Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence/ Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.
12:38 a.m. Received a report of persons refusing to leave a residence on Spruce street, an officer responded, matter resolved.
11:06 a.m. Received a report of 2 loose K-9 on 3rd street, owner picked up K-9.
8:51 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and SSTC, a verbal warning was given for a tail light out.

8/31/17
9:00 a.m. Received a report of an abandoned vehicle.
8:38 p.m. Received a report of an alarm going off at a residence, officer responded, matter resolved.
9/1/17
1:52 a.m. Received a report of an alarm going off at a local business, officer responded, matter resolved.
2:28 a.m. An officer reported an injured duck in the road on E. Hamilton, Animal shelter and Raptor Center contacted.
12:00 p.m. Received a traffic complaint of a vehicle driving reckless on C/K Hwy towards Craig.
4:43 p.m. Received a report of a loose K-9 in the Upper Harborview TC, an officer advised the K-9 was laying in its yard.

9/2/17
9:08 a.m. Received a report of a loose K-9 in the Upper Harborview TC, an officer responded, K-9 laying on its porch.
11:56 a.m. Received a traffic complaint of a vehicle driving slow and swerving on C/K Hwy heading into Craig, an officer responded, matter resolved.
7:13 p.m. A 49 year old female was arrested on charges of DUI.
8:30 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Port Bagial and JS, a verbal warning was given for speed.
10:01 p.m. Received a report of a male laying in the road in SSTC, officers responded and matter resolved.

1 abandoned vehicles; 2 adult arrest; 12 agency assists; 5 animal reports; 0 assault; 5 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 2 business assists; 3 citizen assists, 0 citations were issued; 1 criminal mischief; 1 criminal trespass,0 disorderly conduct;1 disturbances; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 0 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 0 juvenile complaints; 2 lost property; 2 medical call; 0 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 2 protective custodies; 0 subpoena served,0 summons served; 5 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 4 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 6 verbal warnings and 0 welfare checks were given
