The IFA May Have DELAYED Service Coming Back From Ketchikan This Weekend

POW Report has learned that a few days ago the IFA m/v Prince of Wales had bow-thruster issues.

On Thursday, September 20th divers were sent to investigate the issue and clear up the bow thruster intake valve and discovered metal pvc type pipe that was sucked in and wrapped around the valve.

The divers could not remove the obstructing object and the m/v Prince of Wales will need to be dry-docked for a few hours to resolve the issue.

As of this writing the IFA doesn't know WHEN this will take place, however it will need to happen ASAP.

Please be aware that the vessel will most likely be delayed departing Ketchikan sometime in the next few days.

If you have questions call the IFA at 907) 530-4848
