On 9/18/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales contacted Larry Johnson, age 63 of Ketchikan, and Leslie Melvin, age 55 of Ketchikan, while they were subsistence fishing for Dungeness crab in Karta Bay. An inspection of their catch revealed that they had retained 13 undersized crab. Both Melvin and Johnson were issued an Alaska Uniform Citation for retaining undersized Dungeness crab.

On 9/21/2018 at approximately 1800 hours, Prince of Wales AST responded to 11 Mile Klawock/Hollis Highway for a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of 47 year old Klawock resident Jason Fitch for assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence. Fitch was remanded to the Craig Jail pending arraignment. Alcohol was a contributing factor.

On 9-14-2018 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Lance Miethe (67) of Port Protection for failing to return the RMO38 hunt report within the time specified on the hunt report. This violation carries a set fine of $110 and does not require a court appearance in the First Judicial District Court in Petersburg.
