On November 17, 2018 at about 5:15PM, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The driver, 28 year old Hydaburg resident Esther Peratrovich, was cited for Driving With a Suspended License and No Proof of Insurance. The investigation revealed Peratrovich was on Conditions of Release in regards to her ability to drive. Peratrovich was arrested and transported to the Craig Jail where she was remanded without bail.

On 11/16/2018, AWT issued a citation to Peter Moore, 21 of Ketchikan, for taking an over limit of deer in GMU 1B. Moore had contacted AWT after realizing the violation. Moore was given a mandatory court appearance in the District Court at Ketchikan in December.
