On 11/07/2020, at approximately 2237 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan responded to the Vallenar View Trailer Park to investigate the report of an intoxicated male who was at the wrong residence, was creating a disturbance, and who ultimately punched a female homeowner in the face. Kitt Samuel (age 23 of Ketchikan) was arrested for Assault 4 and was remanded at the Ketchikan Correctional Center.

On 11/13/2020 at about 2309 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a male standing in the middle of the roadway causing a traffic hazard near the intersection of Revilla Road and North Tongass Highway. AST responded to investigate. Investigation revealed that Jeremiah Stack, age 33 of Ketchikan was intoxicated by alcohol. Further investigation revealed that Stack was violating current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse by consuming alcohol. The original charge stemmed from Disorderly Conduct and VCOR. Stack was arrested for VCOR and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.

On 11/14/2020 at approximately 1330 hours, Prince of Wales AST, AWT and Craig Police Department boarded the F/V “The Chaser” in the marine waters near Klawock to arrest 34-year-old Dustin O. Jones of Oregon. Jones was wanted on an outstanding misdemeanor Craig AST warrant. Jones was subsequently arrested on the warrant and charged additionally for resisting arrest and VCOR. Due to what was observed during the arrest, a search warrant was obtained for the vessel. In that search, over 42 grams of heroin, 19 grams of methamphetamine, multiple firearms including a saw-off shotgun with a 13” barrel, over $2500 in cash, and digital scales were seized. Jones has been remanded to the Craig Jail for the additional charges of MICSII, MICSIII and MIWIII.
