Trooper Report Week of January 10. 2020

 


Location: Ketchikan

Type: MICS 4th Degree, VCOR

Dispatch Text:

On 01/09/2021 at about 2200 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted James Scudero, age 41 of Metlakatla at a hotel in the 2100 Block of Sea Level Drive.  Investigation revealed that Scudero was in possession of Heroin and drug paraphernalia.  Further investigation revealed that Scudero was on active conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse and was violating the conditions by being in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.  The original charges stem from Failure to Stop at Direction of Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest, DWLR, and PTRP.   Scudero was arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail. AST would like to thank Ketchikan Police Department and USFS LEO's for their assistance with the investigation.

On 01/14/2021 at about 2155 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Kia at Mile 5 of the North Tongass Highway.  The vehicle was pulled over after AST personally identified the driver as Gordon Guthrie III, age 39 of Ketchikan.  Guthrie was known to have a Revoked driver's licensed and previously advised by AST to not drive.  Guthrie was also found to be operating a motor vehicle without his required Ignition Interlock device which was required after a DUI/ Refusal. The vehicle was seized and a search warrant was later conducted on the vehicle. Guthrie was later found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Further investigation revealed that Guthrie was violating current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse by driving.  Guthrie was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $1,000.00.

On 01/15/2021 at about 2148 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a request for assistance at a residence on Trollers Road.  Investigation revealed that Charlene Myers, age 49 of Ketchikan got upset when a family member took her car keys and prevented her from driving intoxicated.  Further investigation revealed that Myers was on current conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse from the original charges of DUI, and VCOR.  Myers was found intoxicated by alcohol and in violation of her conditions of release.  Myers was arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.
