On 02/05/2021 at about 2059 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a call of a Domestic Disturbance at a residence at mile 9 of the North Tongass Highway.  Investigation revealed that Christopher Comstock, age 42 of Ketchikan had assaulted a family member and caused damage to a residence.  Comstock was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree DV, and Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree DV and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.  AST would like to thank the Saxman VPSO and Ketchikan Police Department for their assistance with the investigation.

On February 6, 2021 at approximately 9:00pm, multiple citizens called 911 to report that there was a man near Engstrom Road and Beechcraft Road who had removed all of his clothing, was jumping in front of vehicles and masturbating in the roadway. During the investigation, AST contacted Robert Hill, 19 years old of Wasilla, at a nearby residence. Hill appeared to be under the influence of intoxicating substances, was half nude and was immediately verbally and physically combative with AST. Witnesses confirmed that Hill was the man seen masturbating in the roadway. Investigation revealed that two adults and one child witnessed this behavior. Hill was arrested and remanded to MSPT. Charges include one count of First Degree Indecent Exposure (Class B Felony for child victim), two counts of First Degree Indecent Exposure (Class C Felony for adult victims), and three counts of Fourth Degree Assault against a Peace Officer.
