Location: Ketchikan

Type: Sport fish without a license

On 6-3-2021 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Santiago Ochoa (48) of California for sport fishing in Alaska waters without a valid 2021 Alaska sportfishing license.  This offense has a set fine/bail of $220 and does not require an appearance in the First Judicial District Court in Ketchikan.

On 6-3-2021 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Yovanni Cuellar-Ruano (45) of Washington for sport fishing in Alaska waters without a valid 2021 Alaska sportfishing license.  This offense has a set fine/bail of $220 and does not require an appearance in the First Judicial District Court in Ketchikan.

Type: Warrant Arrest

On June 3, 2021 Alaska State Troopers contacted Jennifer Treat in the Ketchikan area. Treat had an outstanding no bail arrest warrant. Treat was placed under arrest without incident and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.

Type: Theft 2, Criminal Mischief 4, Criminal Trespass 2, VCOR, Attempted Theft in the 4th Degree

On 06/03/2021 at about 1637 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle being broken into at mile 2 of the South Tongass Highway.  It was also reported that the victim received a call from a local business who reported a person showed up with his stolen property and was attempting to return the item for cash.  AST responded to the local business located in the 4100 Block of Tongass Avenue.  Investigation revealed that Jesse Shull, age 37 of Ketchikan was in possession of reported stolen property.  Further investigation revealed after execution of a search warrant on the vehicle of Shull that he was in possession of more items reported stolen from the pick-up which was broken into on the South Tongass Highway.  It was also found that upon AST's contact that Shull was attempting to steal items which were concealed on his person from the business he was in.  Shull was also actively on conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse reference the original charge of Theft 4th Degree.  Shull was arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with No Bail.
