On July 12, 2021 Alaska State Troopers observed Christopher Johnson (45Y/O) driving his vehicle on Tongass avenue. Christopher has no valid operators license and has been advised numerous times by AST. When Christopher observed AST he attempted to conceal his identity while passing, then attempted to escape by driving into a parking lot and trying to flee from his vehicle. Also observed fleeing from the vehicle was Don A. Wright (51 Y/O), Don has an active arrest warrant and was recently involved in a pursuit with Ketchikan Police Department. Christopher was taken into custody near his vehicle as Don fled the area. Don was pursued through the area by AST, Ketchikan PD and the US Forest Service but was able to escape with assistance from others. A search warrant was served on the vehicle due to drug paraphernalia being in plain view. At the conclusion of investigation Christopher was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center on 1 count of Driving While License Revoked, 1 count of Driving in Limitation of Restriction, 1 count of Eluding and 1 count of MICS 5th degree.

On 7-12-2021 the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Jade Beaupre (29) of Ketchikan for sport fishing without a license. The bail/fine for this offense is $220. This violation does not require a mandatory court appearance in the First Judicial District Court in Ketchikan.

On July 16, 2021 the Alaska State Troopers with the Assistance of the US Forest Service and Ketchikan Police Department responded to a residence on North Tongass highway in an attempt to contact Joshua Cowley (43 Y/O) on an outstanding No Bail Parole Violation Warrant. Upon arriving at the residence Josh briefly hid from law enforcement in the surrounding woods before being taken into custody. He was remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center without incident.
