Craig Police Report Week of May 8, 2016

The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the
Craig Police Department:


5/08/2016
1:33 a.m. Contacted a citizen with a disabled vehicle on C/K Highway
3:22 a.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy at Hilltop, verbal warning for an out brake light and no proof of insurance
11:18 a.m. Received a report of a lost dog
5:17 p.m. Received a report of a lost dog
10:52 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on the 300 block Shaan Seet, verbal warning given for no headlights on
11:19 p.m. Secured an open door at a local business
11:25 p.m. Secured an open door at a local business
11:44 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop near the 200 block Shaan Seet, verbal warning for an out headlight

5/09/2016
2:05 a.m. Investigated a report of a burglary on the 400 block of Water St.
3:45 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle not stopping for the school bus on Third St.
4:11 p.m. Responded to reports of gunshots on Tanner Crab Ct.
4:45 p.m. Investigated a report of graffiti on a residence on E. Hamilton
5:45 p.m. Booked an individual in for Protective Custody
6:16 p.m. Investigated a report of a possible intoxicated person near the Harbormaster
6:35 p.m. A 25 year old female was booked in on an Arrest Warrant for Violating Conditions of Release
8:57 p.m. Medics were dispatched for a medical call on Fifth St.
10:40 p.m. A 57 year old female was booked on an Arrest Warrant for Failure to Serve Jail Time

5/10/2016
11:12 a.m. Responded to a report of an individual who reported almost getting hit by a truck near the High School
2:21 p.m. Investigated a report of a male stalking two individuals
3:03 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy near Sunnahae Trail, verbal warning for expired registration
3:21 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle not stopping for the school bus on E. Hamilton
7:00 p.m. Responded to a report of a puppy in the road by the Harbormaster
10:44 p.m. Responded to a report of a loud TV, individual contacted and it was turned down
11:54 p.m. Contacted a vehicle parked at the library, the individual was told that there is no camping within city limits

5/11/2016
10:16 a.m. Received a report of loud music from a vehicle on Fifth St.
10:45 a.m. Responded to a report of a reckless driver on C/K Hwy, an arrest was made
11:14 a.m. A 50 year old male was arrested for DUI
12:37 p.m. Investigated a report of a minor Motor Vehicle Accident near Little T’s, no damage was reported
3:48 p.m. Responded to a report of a fire alarm going off at a local business
11:18 p.m. Secured an open door at a local business

5/12/2016
8:14 a.m. Received a report of possible animal cruelty near the Post Office
11:38 a.m. A 32 year old female was booked for Petition to Revoke Probation
12:04 p.m. A 27 year old male was booked for Felony Boating Under the Influence
4:38 p.m. Received a complaint of two vehicles not stopping for school buses
8:41 p.m. Conducted a requested welfare check on an adult male on Beach Road

5/13/2016
6:44 a.m. Responded to a report of a deer that was hit near the High School
12:19 p.m. Responded to a report of a dispute on T&H Street, it was verbal only
7:06 p.m. Responded to a report of two men trying to pull down a tree at Lower Harborview
20:22 p.m. Responded to a report of an intoxicated male in a ditch near T&H St., medics were called, then the person was taken to a responsible person for the night

5/14/2016
12:14 a.m. Contacted an individual parked on Pt. St. Nick Rd., he was advised there is no camping in city limits
2:40 p.m. Medics were paged out for a medical call on Spruce St.
10:10 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2 mi C/K Hwy, verbal warning for out headlight
11:20 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy, verbal warning given for speeding
11:37 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop near the CTA Building, verbal warning given for a broken headlight



During the week May 8, 2016 to May 14, 2016 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:

1 disturbance; 0 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Order Served; 1 fire call; 0 found property; 0 harassments; 0 juvenile arrest; 0 juvenile complaints; 0 lost property; 4 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 2 noise complaints; 1 protective custody; 0 subpoena served; 0 summons served; 6 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 4 traffic complaints; 3 unsecured premise,
10 verbal warnings and 1 welfare checks were given
