Craig Police Report Week of June 11, 2017



The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

6/11/17
8:00 a.m. EMS responded via boat to a call out at Tranquil Point.
9:38 a.m. Received a report of a dangerous K9, 7th Street. Officer responded, matter resolved.
4:00 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 7th and Water street, a verbal warning was given for speed.
8:30 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy near the High School, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.

6/12/17
1:53 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Thompson House parking, a citation was issued for expired registration.
2:22 p.m. EMS responded to a call 2nd street.
5:30 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for speed.
10:11 p.m. An officer assisted a intoxicated person in getting home.

6/13/17
8:30 a.m. A woman reported losing a wallet.
4:43 p.m. A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
4:49 p.m. 3 Subpoena’s were served 2nd street.
5:28 p.m. Received a report of a yellow dog found at the ball park, dog’s owner was notified and came and picked up the dog.
7:09 p.m. EMS responded to a call at the Shaan Seet TC.
8:39 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 2nd and Main street, a verbal warning was given for no turn signal.
10:51 p.m. Received a report of an intoxicated male driving a pickup truck, Port Saint Nick Road.

6/14/17
8:00 a.m. EMS responded to a call 2nd street.
2:26 p.m. Received a report disturbance JS Hardware Store. Officer responded, person trespassed from business for 1 year.
4:16 p.m. Received a report of vehicle trespassing on Shaan Seet property.

6/15/17
10:28 a.m. Received a report of person dumping trash in burn pit. Officer responded, investigation started.
11:57 a.m. Received a request for a welfare check of a male staying in Shaan Seet TC, Officer responded, contacted person and all is fine.
12:38 p.m. A 57 year old male was arrested on charges of 2 counts of Possession of child Pornography.
6:06 p.m. An officer advised a man and woman that they have been trespassed from all Shaan Seet property, they said they understood.
10:30 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy near the High School, a verbal warning was given for a break light out.
10:41 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at 1.5 mile C/K Hwy, a verbal warning was given for an out headlight and expired registration.

6/16/17
3:06 a.m. A 30 year old male was arrested on charges of Criminal Trespass in the first degree.
12:00 p.m. A 30 year old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence.
2:42 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at C/K Hwy and JS street, a verbal warning was given for speed.
5:13 p.m. received a report of a vehicle that backed into a pole at a local business on Cold Storage rd, an officer was notified.
6:52 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle speeding near ball field. Officer responded, found vehicle and matter resolved.
7:30 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at the Water Tower on PSN, a verbal warning was given for speed.
7:45 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at A&B apts, a verbal warning was given for expired registration.

6/17/17
12:38 p.m. Received a request for a welfare check. Officer responded, learned that person(s) were out walking. All ok.
12:50 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Sunnahae Trail head, a verbal warning was given for failure to stop when entering main road.
1:46 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle parked at the Barge landing on PSN since yesterday, the owner was contacted and advised he would have it moved by next weekend and come get it registered.
4:32 p.m. An officer performed a welfare check at the Whale Bone apartments.
6:13 p.m. A Subpoena was served 2nd street.
6:24 p.m. Conducted a traffic stop at Ruth Anne’s parking near JT Brown, a verbal warning was given for failure to stop at a stop sign.
11:16 p.m. Received a report of a Domestic Disturbance Shaan Seet TC. Officer responded, investigation started.

0 abandoned vehicles; 3 adult arrest; 11 agency assists; 2 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 3 business assists; 6 citizen assists, 1 citations were issued; 1 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass, 0 disorderly conduct; 0 disturbances; 1 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 0 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest 0 juvenile complaints; 0 lost property; 4 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 0 protective custodies; 5 subpoena served,0 summons served; 3 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 4 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 11 verbal warnings and 3 welfare checks were given
