Craig Police Report Week of November 12, 2017


The following incidents were reported to and/or investigated by the Craig Police Department:

11/12/17
12:24 a.m. Received a report of vehicle leaving bar, possible intoxicated driver and 1 minute later, save vehicle hit a vehicle and left the scene. Investigation started.
12:40 a.m. Received a report that the cabs are not answering their phones, an officer was advised.
3:08 a.m. An officer picked up a loose K-9 on Water street and placed it in the pound.
8:24 a.m. A 42 year old male was arrested on charges of Violating Conditions Of Release.
8:25 a.m. Received a report of a found ID, ID was returned to owner.
5:33 p.m. 2 Subpoenas were served on 2nd street.

11/13/17
10:45 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. 4 Summons were served in Klawock.
2:15 p.m. Received a report of a stolen gun, investigation started.
2:23 p.m. The K-9 in the pound was picked up by its owner.
2:30 p.m. A 27 year old female was arrested on an Arrest Warrant for charges of Assault in Third Degree.
5:00 p.m. received a traffic complaint of a vehicle with no tail lights. Officer responded, matter resolved.
6:37 p.m. EMS responded to a call on 2nd street.

11/14/17
7:53 a.m. Received a request for welfare check, small child outside, alone and officer responded / matter resolved.
2:51 p.m. Received a traffic complaint on W. Hamilton drive of a vehicle parking in the wrong place.
3:09 p.m. EMS responded to a call on 2nd street.
3:28 p.m. EMS responded to a call on PSN.
10:50 p.m. Received a report of Suspicious persons/ activity, an officer responded, matter resolved.

11/15/17
12:53 a.m. Received a report of a domestic disturbance on T&H street, an officer responded, matter resolved.
6:49 a.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
11:14 a.m. A 42 year old male was arrested on charges of Access Of Persons with Restrictions On Purchasing Alcohol.
4:08 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
4:16 p.m. PAWS reported a loose K-9 picked up in Harborview TC.
6:07 p.m. EMS responded to a call on W. Hamilton drive.
8:25 p.m. Received a report from a local business of an unsecured premises, an officer responded.
10:06 p.m. Received a request for a citizen assist in Harborview TC, an officer responded, matter resolved.

11/16/17
9:38 a.m. Received a report from a local business of suspicious activity, an officer responded, matter resolved.
11:18 a.m. Received a report of a citizen needing assistance on W. Hamilton, an officer responded, matter resolved.
12:34 p.m. EMS responded to a call on Sunnyside drive.
1:22 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on C/K Hwy and Peace Health, a verbal warning was given for excessive smoke.
1:42 p.m. A 37 year old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the Third Degree.
4:05 p.m. Received a report of a vehicle parked in front of a hydrant on Beach rd, an officer responded.
5:30 p.m. A 19 year old male was arrested on charges of Assault in the Fourth Degree.
7:29 p.m. Received a traffic complaint of a vehicle with trailer swerving on C/K Hwy to Craig, an officer responded.

11/17/17
5:52 p.m. Received a report from a local business, possible electrical matter, staff contacted responsible party, matter resolved.
10:30 An officer conducted a traffic stop on Sunnyside drive, a verbal warning was given for manner of driving.

11/18/17
7:47 a.m. Received a report of an MVA on C/K Hwy around 5.5 mile, officers from Craig/ Klawock responded as well as KEMS/ KVFD, DOT, AST.
8:45 a.m. Received a report of a loose K-9 on Tanner Crab, an officer was notified.
12:38 p.m. Received a report of a domestic disturbance on Beach rd, an officer responded, matter resolved.
1:31 p.m. Received a complaint from the Upper Harborview TC, an officer responded, matter resolved.
2:40 p.m. EMS responded to a call in SSTC.
4:58 p.m. Received a report of a missing K-9 from main street.
5:10 p.m. Received a report of a domestic disturbance on T&H street, an officer responded, matter resolved.
11:22 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on PSN, a verbal warning was given for manner of driving and an equipment violation.



During the week of November 12, 2017 to November 18, 2017 the following complaints were reported and investigated by the Craig Police Department:

0 abandoned vehicles; 5 adult arrest; 3 agency assists; 5 animal reports; 0 assault; 0 bear complaints; 0 burglaries, 1 business assists; 11 citizen assists, 0 citations were issued; 4 criminal complaint; 0 criminal mischief; 0 criminal trespass, 0 disorderly conduct; 0 disturbances; 3 domestic dispute; 0 Domestic Violence Orders Served,0 fire call, 1 found property, 0 harassments, 0 juvenile arrest; 0 juvenile complaints; 0 lost property; 8 medical call; 1 motor vehicle accidents; 0 noise complaints; 0 protective custodies; 2 subpoena served,4 summons served; 2 suspicious circumstances; 0 theft; 3 traffic complaints; 0 unsecured premise, 3 verbal warnings and 0 welfare checks were given
