Ketchikan Police Report Week of March 18, 2019

On 03/18/19 at approximately 1928 hours, Officers responded to the 2400 block of Tongass Avenue for a report of male following a female in his car. After further investigation, Mikel Dupree, age 30, was arrested for Assault in the 3rd Degree – Domestic Violence and Stalking in the 1st Degree – Domestic Violence. He was transported to the state jail and held without bail.

On 3/18/19 at approximately 2220 hours, Officers contacted Michael Peterson, age 57, outside a residence located on Deermount Street due to a report of a male banging on the door. Mr. Peterson is on court ordered conditions of release with one of the conditions stating he is to not go back to this particular house on Deermount Street. Mr. Peterson was arrested and transported to the state jail where he was held on no bail on the charge of Violating Conditions of Release.

On 3/18/19 at approximately 1822 hours, Officers contacted Brandon Riley, age 30, and Cheyanne Ferguson, age 31, in the 1600 block of Tongass Avenue. Mr. Riley and Ms. Ferguson each had an outstanding arrest warrant from a January 2019 case for Theft in the 2nd Degree and Forgery in the 3rd Degree. Both were arrested, transported to the state jail and each washeld on $500 bail.

On 3/19/19 at approximately 1739 hours, Officers contacted Tanner D. Stack, age 28, at 2050 Sea Level Drive while investigating a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Stack had an outstanding summons for Petition to Revoke Probation. Mr. Stack was served his summons.

On 03/20/19 at approximately 1607 hours, Officers contacted Gabriel Falzarano, age 38, in the 1100 block of Water Street. Mr. Falzarano had two outstanding arrest warrants charging him with Theft in the 3rd Degree (a March 2019 incident) and Driving Under the Influence (a January 2019 incident). He was arrested, transported to the state jail and held on $1000 bail.

On 03/21/19 at approximately 0255 hours, Officers contacted Joseph Volpi, age 38, Harris Street due to Mr. Volpi having an outstanding arrest warrant for Violation of Conditions of Release.The charge originated from an incident earlier this month, March 2019. Mr. Volpi was transported to the state jail and held on $1,000.00 bail.

On 03/21/19 at approximately 1700 hours, Officers contacted Biana Brisson, age 41, in the 3400 block of Tongass Avenue. Mrs. Brisson had two arrests warrants. One for the warrants was for the Failure to Appear to a calendar call for the charges of Theft in the 4th Degree, False Information and Violation of Conditions of Release. The other warrant originated from the Craig Police Department charging her with Failure to Appear. She was arrested, transported to the state jail and held on $300 bail.

On 03/24/19 at approximately 0159 hours, Officers contacted Kyle Somers, age 30, and Katherine Wood, age 31, in the 700 block of Water Street due to them yelling at each other.During the contact both were verbally warned multiple times for Disorderly conduct Loud Noise. They continued to yell loudly, disturbing the peace. Both were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the state jail where they were set to be released on their own recognizance.

On 03/26/19 at approximately 1830 hours, Officers were dispatched to Safeway, located at 2417 Tongass Avenue, for report of a female trespassing. Officers contacted Joni Vrell, age 57, in the deli area of the store. Ms. Vrell had been served a one year trespass on 06/12/18. Ms. Vrell was arrested for Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, transported to the state jail and set to bereleased on her own recognizance.

On 03/27/19 at approximately 0439 hours, Officers contacted Christian Mathers, age 20, on Sea Level Drive. Mr. Mathers had three outstanding arrest warrants. The first warrant was for Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, the second warrant for Violation of Conditions of Release and the third warrant for Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, Theft in the 4th Degree and Violation of Conditions of Release. These warrants are from incidents that occurred earlier in March 2019. Mr. Mathers was arrested and transported to the state jail. He was held on $1,500.00 bail.
