The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-50806 (Lot 6, Block 100, consisting of approximately 13,125 square feet), at Klawock Airport for an additional thirty one (31) years, to expire July 1, 2069. Applicant: Steven Gruenberg. Annual rent: $1,942.50. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Construction and maintenance of a hangar for aviation use, including air taxi/air charter business, aircraft storage, aircraft maintenance, air freight handling and offices and vehicle parking associated with these activities. Incidental use of office for non-aviation, if no aviation demand, and for temporary overnight quarters for flight delays due to inclement weather. Fueling of Lessee-controlled aircraft only (no fuel sales).
Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., March 14, 2021, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
