On December 28, 2019, the Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales island contacted 38 year old Alva Peratrovich at his residence in Hydaburg. Peratrovich was arrested on an outstanding probation warrant and transported to the Craig Jail. Once at the jail, Peratrovich was charged with a new probation violation, was remanded, and held without bail.

On 12/28/2019 at about 2235 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted and arrested Christian Mathers, age 21 of Ketchikan in the 600 Block of Schoenbar Road. Mathers had an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from PTRP. Mathers was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $5,000. AST would like to thank United States Forest Service Law Enforcement Officers for their assistance at the scene.

Text: On 12/31/19 at approximately 0708 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan responded to a residential fire on North Tongass Hwy. Investigation revealed the residence was only used for storage and the adjacent residence was the primary residence. Investigation and interviews identified Kami Riley, age 43 of Ketchikan, as a suspect. Riley was subsequently arrested and lodged at KCC for one count of Arson II (DV). Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this incident. Investigation is ongoing.

Type: Commercial Fish Dungeness Crab Gear Identification Requirements / Dungeness Crab Gear ADF&G Tag Requirements .Dispatch Text:
On 1/2/20, Cody E Evans (75 y/o) of Ketchikan, was charged by the Prince of Wales Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing for Dungeness crab in Kasaan Bay using crab pots with buoys that failed to meet the commercial Dungeness crab gear identification requirements. He also had crab pots which did not have valid ADF&G Dungeness crab pot tags attached as required. He has an mandatory appearance in the Prince of Wales District.

ON 1-3-20 at approximately 1935 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Robert Pickrell, age 42 of Ketchikan at his residence near mile 6 South Tongass Highway. A check in APSIN showed that Pickrell had an outstanding Arrest Warrant for Violating a Domestic Violence Protective Order. Pickrell was arrested and remanded to the Ketchikan Correctional Center without incident.

On 01/04/20 at 0116 hours, VPSO contacted a vehicle at South Tongass Service Station. The driver was identified as Paul Bermudez JR., age 23 of Ketchikan. Bermudez JR. was found to have a suspended license and several prior convitions and was arrested for DWLS. Further investigation revealed that the passenger Carlee Kistler, age 23 of Ketchikan was violating current Conditions of release set by the Ketchikan Courthouse reference the original charge of MICS 5 by possessing drug paraphernalia. Bermudez and Kistler were both arrested and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center.
