Shelby Beck, a CHS History and Spanish teacher completed the PADI Dive Master internship this semester.Shelby has been a major part of the CHS SCUBA Club helping give CHS students the experience of SCUBA during activity days, two week voyage exploratory courses and the open water check out dives for certification.
Shelby has completed a practical application internship option where she helps supervise students in confined water settings, open water settings and also during PADI specialty courses.
The PADI Dive Master course includes rigorous swim tests, a battery of academic exams, underwater mapping, search and recovery, along with logged deep dive experience.
